5 Ways to Communicate with your Customers During Uncertain Times

Here's 5 ways you can use Oncord to communicate with your customers during these times of uncertainty.

1) Post a blog / news update

If you have a 'blog' or 'latest news' page on your Oncord website, you can publish articles easily.

  • Navigate to Website > Posts
  • Click New Post
  • Write the summary / information for the listing
  • Save and Edit Post
  • Write detailed information in the linked page

2) Add a "Section" to your home page

You can drag and drop a 'section' onto the home page of your website to create an area that really stands out.

  • Edit your home page
  • Click Insert
  • Drag and drop a "Section" into your page
  • Customise the colours
  • Edit your message
  • Save

Adding a section is as effective as a 'popup' and does not detract from the experience of the site.

3) Publish on social

If you have the "Marketing" feature installed on your account, you can publish quickly to your social networks.

  • Type the message you desire in each network
  • If you created a post earlier, you can link to the page it created
  • Publish on each network

4) Draft an e-mail newsletter

If you have the "Marketing" feature installed on your account, you can send an e-mail campaign easily to your customers.

  • Go to Marketing > E-mail Marketing
  • Click New Message
  • If you created a post earlier, you can create your campaign from it
  • Customise the message
  • Click Next and choose who you want to send to
  • Send the message

5) Send an SMS

If you have the "Marketing" feature installed on your account, you can send an SMS campaign easily to your customers.

  • You may need to install SMS marketing under Settings > Apps
  • Go to Marketing > SMS Marketing
  • Click New Message
  • Customise the message
  • Click Next and choose who you want to send to
  • Send the message

We recently celebrated the launch of a new UK hosting cluster, improving performance for Oncord clients based around the United Kingdom. It's now easier than ever to filter Contacts and other data throughout Oncord thanks to an overhaul of the "Filter by Conditions" system. We've introduced a new Status Page to monitor service status, and deployed plenty of improvements to help Oncord Commerce clients improve how they sell online.

It's only a website  - there’s not a lot that can go wrong from a legal perspective right? We spoke with intellectual property and technology law experts, Dundas Lawyers about websites, copyright, and ensuring you don’t run into trouble.

The latest Oncord update includes the addition of drag-and-drop rotators and banners, a Domain Health Checker to enhance email deliverability, the ability to bulk remove contacts from groups, and integration with Eventbrite for streamlined event management. Additionally, our events RSVP system has been improved, and we've added new notification options and automations for recurring sales.
