Filtering Products

The "Filter by Conditions" feature is a powerful tool that helps you quickly find relevant products in your database. By allowing you to filter products based on specific attributes, it streamlines the search process and saves time especially when managing a large inventory.

In this article, we’ll guide you through filtering your product database using various conditions, such as purchase date, order value range, inventory levels within categories, and specific brands.

Custom Filter

To get started:

  • Navigate to Dashboard > Commerce > Products to view your contact database.
  • Click the "Custom Filter" option at the top of the table, which will open up the Filter by Conditions engine.
  • A search bar will appear underneath with a list of available condition options that you can choose to create a custom filter (The condition options displayed will depend on your pricing plan).

  • After selecting a condition, additional options specific to that condition will be displayed underneath, allowing you to make your query even more specific.
  • You can stack query conditions by clicking the blank area on the right, and you can also use negated logic operations by clicking the "=" icon at the top right of the condition.
  • To remove the condition, simply click the "X" icon at the top right.
  • You can adjust the condition logic by clicking "And" to switch between "And" or "Or" conditions. This gives you flexibility in defining how multiple conditions work together.

The following example demonstrates how to retrieve all products that belong to the "On Sale" category and have a base price greater than $200:

  • Select "In Category" from the list of conditions.
  • A list of existing categories will appear. Tick the "On Sale" category.
  • Click the empty field on the right to add another condition, then select "Filter by Field".
  • From the field list, choose "Price Base", then select "is greater than" from the conditions list.
  • Enter "200" in the provided field.
