Setup The Xero Practice Manager Integration

The XPM integration is free, and can be enabled regardless of the Oncord plan you are running. It's worth noting that in order to see maximum value from all features of the integration, you should consider enabling Oncord's Marketing features.

What Data is Synchronised?

Selected forms throughout your Oncord website can be configured to sync as leads within XPM, and clients will sync two-way between Oncord and XPM. The Xero Practice Manager integration works by synchronising the following information:

From Oncord From XPM
Contacts
  • Updating a contact in Oncord will update the client in XPM.
  • Deleting a contact within Oncord will not remove them from XPM.
Contacts
  • Contacts within XPM are pulled into Oncord.
  • Changes to a contact are reflected in Oncord.
  • Deleting a contact within XPM will not remove them from Oncord.
  • Archiving a contact within XPM will not remove them from Oncord.
Groups
  • Two Groups will be automatically created within Oncord - "Workflow Max Clients", and "Workflow Max Prospects"


Form Submissions
  • Oncord form submissions can create new leads in XPM.


Note: Because deletions are not reflected in either system, you may need to delete entries in both systems.

When Does it Sync?

Oncord will batch-sync with XPM two minutes after an update takes place within Oncord.

For instance, if a web form submission takes place at 2:00pm, the submission will be reflected at 2:04pm within XPM.

If no update takes place in Oncord, a scheduled sync will take place after one day to download data from XPM.

Enable The Xero Practice Manager Integration

To enable the XPM integration:

Navigate to Dashboard > Settings.

Select the "Third Party Integrations" page.

Click the "Enable Integration" button in the Xero Practice Manager box.

Follow the steps to allow Oncord to access your Xero Practice Manager account.
