Creating Contacts
Contacts form the foundation of your customer database in Oncord. Whether you’re managing individual clients or entire organizations, adding contacts is the first step to building strong, data-driven relationships.
How to Create a New Contact
- Navigate to Dashboard > Customers > Contacts.
- Click the New Contact button at the top of the page.
- Select the type of contact you’d like to create.
- Enter the contact details.
- Click Create Contact.
Once saved, the new contact will appear in your Contacts list.
Types of Contacts
Oncord has two types of contact records: Individual and Company.
- Individual – Designed for personal records such as customers, members, or leads.
- Company – Designed for businesses or organizations.
To set the type of contact record, create or edit an existing contact and set the Contact Type to Individual or Company
When viewed in a list, they are represented by the following icons:
