Restoring A Page

Oncord essentially creates a backup of every version of your page, giving you the confidence to make edits and changes without fear of irreversible errors.

When you're unhappy with some changes, or if an issue has disrupted your page, you can revert the page to a specific earlier version.

To restore a page:

  • Click on the "Changes" button located in the left panel.
  • This will open a pop-up page displaying the entire change history of this page.
  • From the list on the left, select the version you wish to revert to.
  • Click on the "Restore" button.
  • Confirm your action by clicking on "Confirm Restore".

Viewing the Change History of one Block

If a page has a long history, you can narrow the list to a single block of content rather than reading through every version.

  • In the page editor, select the text, image, or block you want to trace.
  • Right-click the selection.
  • Click Change History for Selection.

The Changes window opens showing only the versions where that content was added, removed, or rewritten. You can restore or undo from the same window.

This also works in the HTMLCSSJavaScript, and PHP tabs of the source editor, which helps when tracking down a change to a template or a style rule.

For more detail on the change history and its filters, see Changes.
